The FAC Gallery represents professional artists working in all media, including painting, collage, sculpture, mixed media, fiber, and photography.
Currently scheduling exhibitions 1 - 2 years in advance, the FAC Gallery is looking for two-person or group shows that present an engaging and cohesive exhibition. Exhibitions are displayed for 6 - 8 weeks and include a reception. The gallery charges a 35% commision on all sales.
The gallery committee meets 2 - 3 times a year; a representative will notify you as soon as possible of the gallery committee’s decision.

- Promotion on the FAC website

Requirements for Artwork
• 2D artwork: must be wired for hanging. No sawtooth hangers will be accepted. Wire must be at least 2" below the top of the frame. Frames must use plexiglass; no glass, please.
• 3D artwork: must have a stable foot/bottom.
• Works must be fully completed and ready for display or they WILL NOT be exhibited.
GIFT SHOP ARTIST GUIDELINES
Artists must fill out the following form to be considered for addition to the Firehouse's Gift Shop artist roster. Artwork submitted must demonstrate the quality and skill of the intended medium and must be original, handmade, and created by the artist in the last 3 years.
Applications are reviewed on a revolving basis. Accepted artists will be contacted by FAC staff to arrange drop-off of their work.
Work accepted includes ceramics, photography, paintings, original prints, drawings, wood, metal, jewelry, blown glass, slumped glass, stained glass, mixed media pieces, seasonal décor, and some accessories. Items not accepted include clothing (except for hand-woven items), university-themed items, food, and toiletry items.

The Firehouse seeks qualified instructors to teach art classes for adults that encourage self-expression and creativity. Instructors must:
- Possess an enthusiasm for teaching
- Be experienced preparing class materials and implementing lesson plan
- Be willing to challenge, engage, and communicate with students to encourage their participation and learning, while maintaining mutual value and respect
All students are different in terms of their skills, ability, learning, and cognitive styles as well as attitudes, pace of learning, personality, and motivation. Please plan to address the needs of all students by teaching at multiple levels and engaging all students in a dynamic classroom experience.
